Sigma Lambda HER-story

The Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated began as an interest group "Pearls of Perseverance" comprised of fifteen persistent and motivated young women.  Their goal was to establish the first chapter of a Black Greek Sorority on the Main Line.  Located in Radnor, Pennsylvania Sigma Lambda encompasses four academic institutions: Villanova University, Bryn Mawr College, Haverford College and Swarthmore College.  Since that historical day, Sigma Lambda has been dedicated to diversifying, assisting , and edifying its surrounding community with unique and exceptional programming, never ceasing to be "Supreme in Service to All Mankind."
