Alpha Chi Omega feels it is extremely important to provide its sisters with opportunities for service and enrichment.  Our main goal is raising awareness about domestic violence.  We work hard to sponsor programs that focus on strong women.

-Opening our Hearts to Victims of Domestic Violence-
 

At Alpha Chi Omega's 1992 National Convention, delegates voted to adopt the Support of Victims of Domestic Violence as a national altruistic project.  Each year we hold a clothing drive and a cell phone drive for a local women's shelter.  We also sell purple ribbons around campus each October (Official Domestic Violence Awareness Month) to help raise awareness.

The Alpha Chi Omega Foundation

The Foundation provides funds to benefit members of our Fraternity.  For this reason, Alpha Chi Omega recommends that the majority of all fund-raising proceeds be contributed to the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation.  Leadership, Talking About Alcohol and Kristin's Story are a few of the Foundation funded programs offered to members of Alpha Chi Omega
