The social scene at Villanova can sometimes unfortunately be a bit dull. As Betas, we try to enhance our experience by having at least one brotherhood event each weekend. We throw mixers with prominent on-campus sororities, at least once a month we have a semi-formal gathering in which each brother may bring a date, and this is in addition to the weekly events such as brotherhood meetings, pledge meetings, philanthropy and fundraising events. Intramurals are also a big part of the social experience of Beta Theta Pi. We have brotherhood teams in almost every sport…including coed teams.  To see a list of current social events visit the calendar page linked to the left of this page.

Our chapter also holds a formal once per semester. This is usually one of our biggest brotherhood events and attracts nearly 100% brotherhood participation. Each of our formals is held in a high class hotel or banquet room with transportation prearranged both ways. They are entertaining and memorable experiences for all the brothers and their dates.

Even with our active social lives we do not lose sight of the most important reason we attend this great university. Our chapter represents almost every major offered here at Villanova, from marketing to secondary education to computer engineering, and we proudly maintain a 3.07 grade point average, well above the national requirement of 2.5.
