You will flourish in Chi Omega! As the largest women's fraternity, Chi Omega provides countless opportunities for fun and friendship during college and beyond. As a collegian, you will create lasting memories from retreats and chapter meetings to formals and philanthropy events.

The message of "personal responsibility" cannot be stated too often. Each person's choices and actions affect the entire chapter and our national organization. Be proud of Chi Omega and exemplify the best of this wonderful organization in your thoughts, words, and actions.

Chi Omega is FUN! Every year, over 5,000 undergraduate women across America join Chi Omega for fun and lifelong friendships. Chi Omega offers a home in your new college environment and a place to make your mark on the world. You will make a difference in Chi Omega. Chi Omega will make a difference in you.

During college, you will grow academically, attend social functions, contribute to your community through volunteer service, and have unlimited leadership opportunities. The experience of being a Chi Omega will prepare you to flourish during college and beyond. As an alumna, you may join any of Chi Omega’s 240 alumnae chapters across the country. Most alumnae will tell you that their best Chi Omega memories have been made after college.

As a Chi Omega, you will leave college with fond memories, a foundation for leadership, and the best friends you’ve ever had. But you will also be part of a something else – the Greek community. Members of Greek organizations have a proven track record of leadership and success. Take a look at these overwhelming statistics, and remember, Greeks represent about 3% of the adult population:

Every United States President since the 1830’s has been Greek except five.
Two-thirds of the members of Congress and 80% of the Supreme Court are members of fraternities or sororities.
Half of all S & P 500 officers and directors are Greek.
Of the nation's 50 largest corporations, 43 are headed by members of fraternities or sororities.
A U.S. Government study shows that over 70% of all those who join a Greek organization graduate, while under 50% of all non-fraternity/sorority students graduate.
Over 85% of the student leaders on some 730 campuses are involved in the Greek community.
Greek undergraduates raise about $7 million a year for local and national charities.

Additionally, as a member of a National Panhellenic Conference organization, Chi Omega belongs to a network of over 3.5 million initiated women.

Chi Omega members represent different racial, religious and ethnic backgrounds. Our membership is comprised of women who reflect and live the values of Chi Omega. We strive to uphold our purposes, which encourage us to form a network of friends with high standards and similar values. Chi Omega supports personal growth, learning, and service to others. With the six purposes as our guide, we recruit women into our Sisterhood circle who will contribute to the harmony in the chapter and who demonstrate our values.
